CCS King County provides a wide array of services to people living in poverty. The outreach staff are trained to always keep their eye on the bigger picture, not just the immediate situation. Each encounter combines triage and management. Engagement will begin in and around store locations and will have the flexibility to move to other locations as appropriate and necessary.   Position Description The Outreach Case Manager works with individuals experiencing homelessness and behavioral health conditions to help them achieve stability and improved quality of life. Through outreach, engagement, and ongoing relationships the team focuses on reducing harm and supporting healing. The team also bridges gaps and helps individual’s access essential resources such as housing, health care, entitlements and treatment. The Outreach Team has the capacity to provide Starbucks market based outreach and care coordination services to people who are in crisis. The Outreach Case Manager will coordinate with team to conduct individual store and adjacent street outreach in alignment with best practices for safety and client engagement. These positions will engage individuals in designated market areas and help facilitate linkages to resources and housing. Each full-time outreach position will provide services to individuals for the following purposes: - Improve community health and safety by working to resolve the underlying needs of people living on the streets; - Focus on the highest impact people and most problematic locations; - Provide information and education to the community about the state of homelessness and opportunities to care for individuals on the street in their community. The Outreach Team will provide a range of services to people who are in crisis, including Coordinated Entry Assessments; transportation assistance to home community; survival services; connections to shelters/sanctioned encampments; and/or medical/mental health/substance use disorder referral and treatment.

Full-time positions starting at $67,200 - $74,800/yr (D.O.E) with COMPETITIVE BENEFITS INCLUDE: - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability - Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account - Generous PTO, paid sick time, 15 days of paid vacations, 13 days of paid holidays, plus a personal holiday - CCS/CHS 403(b) Employee Saving Plan - Employee assistance program Job Summary The Program Director is responsible for the management of several scattered site and Rapid Re-housing programs in the Short-Term Housing Stabilization division including: Single Adults Rapid Re-housing, Families Rapid Re-housing, Shelter Plus Care Voucher Program, RRH Employment Pilot, F-SHARP (Family Services and Housing to Access Recovery Program) and the Streets to Housing Program.   The Program Director is responsible for staff supervision, preparing and managing program budgets, preparing funding applications, maintaining relationships with contract monitors, ensuring programs achieve key performance indicators, and acting as the staff liaison to fundraising groups. The operating budget of all programs is approximately 6 million dollars.

All programs provide housing case management, move-in assistance, and various methods of ongoing housing support for families experiencing homelessness. These programs utilize a variety of funding including State and Federal Funding, and collaborates with multiple internal and external partners to provide high quality and equitable services to clients. The Shelter Plus Care and CBRA programs require intense documentation requirements that must be completed in a timely and accurate manner in order to ensure contract compliance.   Job Summary This position would be responsible for the day to day employee, client, and fiscal health of these programs. This will involve ongoing supervision and training for staff, addressing client concerns, ensuring model fidelity, and invoicing program expenses. This position would directly supervise four Program Supervisors, and indirectly supervise between 12-14 additional Housing Case Managers. This position would be responsible for over $3 million dollars of contract funds with at least $1 million dollars subject to Federal Auditing as well as ensuring FCS revenue in excess of $100,000 annually. The Shelter Plus Care program provides permanent supportive housing to chronically homeless, disabled households in scattered site housing throughout King County.
